So i am concidering putting hood pins on the celica, not sure if i like the idea or not though, has anyone seen this done? does anyone have any pics? what are your thoughts on the matter?

please let me know your thoughts.......

hood pins are a must have for any person driving with a carbon fibre hood. Last year when I was driving in my daily driver celica my invader hood latch broke, ripped out both brackets, broke windshield and damaged roof all because hood latch mechanism is unreliable. All racing muscle cars have it ESPECIALLY those that are out on the quartermile track all the time. It is a lot easier to remove hood that way.

If you are using hood pins think of them as safety measure. But err I would not use them unless you are using a carbon fibre hood. Metal latches are pretty reliable.
