Just made my own speedometer console

The glass thickness is 4mm
1=93mm (inside) 2=90mm (inside) 3=28mm 4=50mm 5=3mm I'm going to reinstall de console next week and i'll post new pics |

You also need polyester putty to fill holes.
(Not yet polished over here) I think this is a complete list of everything needed. Material: -OEM Console -2x grey plumbing reducing collars -2x white plumbing end cowls -4mm clear plastiglass -SL Llumar film 25% -Water/ lather to install film on glass -Polyester putty -Plastic primer -Primer -Color -Clear varnish -Bison hard PVC glue -Black glue to glue glass into console -Benzine to degrease before spraying Tools: -Dremel with plastic cutting disc -Electric jigsaw to cut the glass -Files -Rulers -Sandpaper 150 - 1200 -Heat gun to install 25% film -3m foil applicator -Bench drill 5mm -Cutter -Tape This post has been edited by RoyO: Jan 1, 2010 - 3:05 PM |
