I have a 1997 St. I need to replace the front brakes and calipers and i was wondering if anybody here has ever done an upgrade from an ST to a GT front brake upgrade Or a 6 gen to a 7 gen brake upgrade. I looked all round in this site but coul not find a lot of information on this specific matter. all i found was a tread about ST165 or ST185 brakes on a AT200. but i think i want to go with something that will be more easyly serviceable in the future. Any help with this will be greatly apreciated.

Do i have to replace a lot of parts up front?
 I mean, I know defenitely Brake pads, Rotors, Calipers and caliper bracket. But i'm not sure if I'll need a new Hub, backing plate and spindle!!
