I found some oz 18" ultraleggeras for a decent price and was wondering if they will fit. The guy says they will fit an audi a4 and a VW jetta. I looked the rims up on tire rack but the options for the celica are only the 17". Also I searched members rides and they seem to have 17' and below. Then I looked them up for the jetta on tire rack, and the wheel specifications are as followed....
Offset 35mm Backspacing 5.87 Bolt Pattern 5-100 225/40-18 Also I was looking up all the mods to do for a celica and should I do the wheels first, gt4 hood and bumper conversion, or anyone else have any ideas. I dont think i will be doing any performance mods since it will be my daily driver. Thanks. Posting my first pics of my celica today! -------------------- Weekend Warrior-----1998 Celica GT: White Daily Driver----------1997 Celica GT: Blurple |

KYB is OEM replacement - so don't expect any performance changes. Buying TRD is a waste, they're just rebadged Eibachs I think.

So all i will need is lowering springs then and i will not run into problems? No, the stock struts will blow with lowering. I believe the KYB GR-2's are identical to stock as far as the assembly goes, but the fluid inside is different. You WILL need replacement struts in the rear, and at least the shock insert cartridges for the front. Sportline springs for '98 GT: http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/suspens...&perfCode=A Rear struts: http://www.amazon.com/KYB-334126-GR-2-Stru...e&carId=002 http://www.amazon.com/KYB-334125-GR-2-Stru...e&carId=002 Front struts: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.phpyd Search for Toyota > Celica > 1998 > 2.2 yaddayadda > Suspension in that catalogue. The struts are 55 each, but I can't link it because there's no dedicated page. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=1024037 (more info here, part number is in the picture) http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=1023942 (more info here, part number is in the picture) You might be able to find better deals on ebay, but this is where I bought from. My total was $430. This post has been edited by SwissFerdi: Jan 7, 2010 - 3:56 PM -------------------- '97 ST \ Eibach \ KYB \ Kenwood \ Alpine \ Cusco \ OEM+ [sold 10/18]
