So me and Dustin (Batman722) decided to postpone the wedding another year and buy another 6th gen project instead...
That and the 99 Solara I've been using as a winter car is going to my sister in a few weeks so we needed to have one available to each of us as a 'winter beater'. We have my green 97 ST turbo, Dustin's blue 95 GT ST205 swapped, his silver 95 ST And let me introduce the new addition to our Celica family, 1994 Celica GT, 5spd, black interior, sunroof, Florida car without New England rust. Very bad rod knock and a very bad radiator meant we had to have it towed home where it stayed until it was again towed to Manny, Jenn and Randi's garage. We decided to swap in a Redtop 3S-GE Beams We cleaned it up, timing belt, waterpump, tensioner, prepped to go in ^inside the intake manifold, taken through the throttle body And as of tonight, it is in the car and running, And Manny fabricated the whole exhaust, from the b-pipe all the way back. I do not have good pics of it, someone else will have to insert them. We should be able to take some better pics tomorrow in the daylight. So far, very fun This post has been edited by hurley97: Jul 1, 2010 - 4:49 PM -------------------- |

Did you use it on all of them or just the worst one? The worst one looks like something just chewed on it when the tire was off.

Those close up pictures in the last post on the previous page are all of that one really bad wheel. I used the putty on two of them, a little on another one and mostly on that bad one. nice work how much the whole project run? Well we aren't done yet, the car still needs bodywork and paint. The motor swap itself was not bad at all, its all the other little details that start adding up quick. I think my green car, as a whole, has cost me around $12-15k in upgrades over the years. I'm not sure about Dustin's blue car but I'm sure its pretty close to that and I'm sure when this car is all said and done it won't be too far under the other two.
