Guys, my wife has a 2005 Mazda tribute and she wants the foglights to run as the DRL(daylight running lamps) instead of the low beam lights. Does anybody know how I can do this? Any help is appreciated.

DRL on the tribute is just the low beams on, interiors off, park light off when the engine is on.
What I need to do is - engine on - low beams off - fog lights on - parking brakes disengage note: when the parking brake is engaged and the engine is running the DRL (low beams) is off. unfortunately, I have been doing some research and there is no relay for the DRL. It is a part of what they call the "smart junction box" which I have to go to the dealership and ask them to disable the DRL through the computer. When that is done then I can hook up the fogs to turn on when the engine is running. I think I already got the answer to this, unless any of you have any other ideas without me going to the dealership. I appreciate all the help I got. -------------------- -Derick

... unfortunately, I have been doing some research and there is no relay for the DRL. ... According to this wiring manual (https://share.acrobat.com/adc/document.do?d...4a-56ed1b61eaa6) actually is (are... because there are 4 of them) and also fuse for DRL: So IMHO remove fuse or main relay and done... but unless you try you never know -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... This is SS-four :)
