Ok,

I began installing my alarm today and have a couple of questions. I have Coomer's wirin diagram

http://www.6gc.net/misc/images/other/rs650...all_diagram.jpg

but am not sure exactly where those wires are. I have removed the drivers side kick panel and have found about 4 different harness down there. For example at least 2 or 3 of the harness have a black and white wire.

A specific example of what I'm taling about is Coomer says in his diagram for the starte output wire coming off the alarm should go into the "black/white wire @ ignition harness" how do i know which one of those harness is down there is the ignition one?

Also in another post someone said
"Door locks are negative trigger.
In the left kickpanel blue/black is lock and blue is unlock. "

What harness would this be in?

Thanks
Cormudgen

I think the diagram you supplied pretty much is the lock controller that I have. It has 2 relays and appears to be wired just like that. That part I think I can figure out.

I started everything tonight. I took the dash all apart and mounted the siren. Where did you guys put the alarm 'brain'?? I'm thinking it should go right behind the instrument cluster. There seems to be plenty of room there and thats probably closest to everything it needs to connect to. I'm really afraid some of the wires are going to be too short and I'll have to extend them. Thats going to be a huge headache.

Ok, there are a bunch of small wire harnesses for sensors and lock/unlock and the like but I think I have them pretty much figured out. Most of my questions lie within the main harness.

Parking light wire: I'm assuming this should go to the trigger wire for the park light relay if there is one? If not it goes directly to the park lights...which is it?

Accessory: I'm thinking this goes to the accessory position on the ignition switch. Is this correct?

Starter kill: There are several relays wired in already and this goes into one of them. How does all this starter kill/anit grind business work?

Ignition: To the on position on the ignition switch???

Ok now on to the other harnesses....

Light output (250mA): I'm guessing this goes to a headlight relay so the headlights flash when the system goes off?

Status output (250mA): No idea.

Ignition output (250mA): No idea. Thought this was covered in the main harness.

Accessory output (250mA): No idea.

Starter output (250mA): No idea. Thought this was covered in the main harness.

Rearm (250mA): ??

Disarm (250mA): ??

I think thats most of it. The further into this I get the harder I'm stressing. I know its not out of my capabilities, I just hope I have the patience to do it all.

Thanks a lot for your help guys!
