Yes, you can get custom clear lenses. But they turn your high beams into something like a flashlight- the light is directed at one specific spot instead if spread out. The low beams will be useless. Why would they be useless? -------------------- 1996 Toyota Celica GT (GT4 conversion) - SOLD :(

Yes, you can get custom clear lenses. But they turn your high beams into something like a flashlight- the light is directed at one specific spot instead if spread out. The low beams will be useless. Why would they be useless? As I understand it, the diffusers inside the headlight lens spread the light out evenly. With the high beams and custom lenses, the light gets directed at one spot. With the low beams and custom lenses, the light scatters everywhere, so you wouldn't have enough light on the ground to be able to see with. You'd also blind everybody coming down the road at you. The JDM high beams are designed to still be useful and effective at spreading the light out without the diffusers, and the projector inside the low beam does the job of directing the light. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates.
