Alright ... since the 3S-GTE orriginally belongs to an AWD vehicle ... and since AWD cars lose more power through the flywheel, then once you put on that mean engine on a FWD car ... would you actually be making more power than if you had AWD? I know AWD rules and gets insane traction and lunches like crazy so it would probably still be faster ... but I'm just wondering about the power.

That's why you have the tranny rebuilt ... buy a NEW tranny ... or better yet... do what I did and use an E-153 (SW20 tranny). For better results in terms of traction and torque steer, get LSD installed. I guarantee you that my tranny will last as long as the GT-FOUR or MR2 Turbo trannies stock.
