have a 7afe and it wouldnt start the other day i check to fuel pump it was good. I changed the fuel filter and it took awhile to start it. Finally, started lets it run for 30mins went and put gas in it. Once i left the gas station it died. now when i start it it take forever and shakes bad. cant hit the gas or it dies out. also smoking from to back of the intake manifold. please helpppppp

the engine is smoking? you get some really bad/cheap fuel? Nothing in the intake manifold should catch fire... there is no ignition source. If there is infact smoke inside the intake manifold you have a number of potention problems:
1. The valve seals are so worn you've lost most of your compression and igniting gas within the manifold
2. your injectors may be fried
3. If you are detonating in the cylinders your causing overheating/head damage, and your Head gasket might be on its way out.

Now if you give it gas and it dies as you stated, its not getting enough fuel, I don't no how cheap you are with gas (Im not trying to be a dick) but if you run 87 octane out of a hick gas station with a rusty old tank there is a chance the filter in the tank (the pickup has a filter) or the pump (in the tank as well accessable thru the carpet in the back seats) is going. But more probable, would be your fuel pressure regulator (FPR) if the pressure is too low and u give it gas you will stall.

Lots to look for bro, need more info
