im with faust why not just swap a 2jz or a toyota v8 (forgot the engine code)... and stay in the toyota family
i give the guy points for it but it seems every one is swapin these motors into every thing i seen a 72 with a v8 and to find the nearest bathroom after -------------------- i hate snow, missing my celica |

im with faust why not just swap a 2jz or a toyota v8 (forgot the engine code)... and stay in the toyota family i give the guy points for it but it seems every one is swapin these motors into every thing i seen a 72 with a v8 and to find the nearest bathroom after i believe pg 8 on the thread, his 1st option was a 2jzgte here's what he said QUOTE went with the f20c because of easily accessable parts, 9,000k RPMS, strong yet reliable engine, and for that all around balanced car....... my first engine option was a 2jzgte....... i drove two old schools with it 2JZGTE swaps and didn't like the feel.... it's like driving a TANK.... TOO FRONT END HEAVY................. THE POWER WAS TOTALLY COOL AND SCARY all at the same time.... and i WILL kill myself with that swap in it......... oh and the celica is only around 1600 - 1800lbs......... here's a customer's car that we did...... 73 carina with 2jzgte.... im not much fan of honduh's but this guy is amazing. -------------------- God made man....
