Hey 6GC,
its been a while since I've posted anything, but I guess that's true about most people on this here. Maybe things will pick up in the spring and we'll revive some awesome threads... Anyway I have a question about what splitters go with what skirts and what trim of the celica do they correspond to. Here is what I know/think I know: I understand that the original 1994 gt4 had no skirts or splitters on it from factory as those didn't show up until later. I know that ss II and ss III's have their own matching skirt/splitter/rear valence combo (that alot of people seem to just mix and match for some reason) From what I can tell, there is also a trd set or splitters and skirts (which is super mega positron rare) Finally, and of most interest to me, I understand that later model GT4's came with factory splitters and side skirts Can someone please elaborate on the above? specifically the splitters and skirts that would appear on say a 1999 gt4? I have a 99gt, are the skirts I have the same ones that would come with a gt4? if yes, which front and rear splitters should I be looking at in order to get a matching set? If you cant tell, I'm trying to avoid buying usdm gt side-skirts with ssIII front splitters and gt4 rear valence skirt. oh and by the way, lets keep this in terms of factory parts. so no c-one or body kits as that would get really confusing So, I think this is the perfect opportunity for someone who is bored to create a nice pictorial breakdown of all the dress up bits that various 6g's came with. I would step up to the plate but ME is a damn time consuming (but awesome) major. This post has been edited by enderswift: Feb 1, 2010 - 12:01 AM -------------------- |
