hey guys so i picked up a 88 all trac! and am very happy lol i know this is the 6th gen forums but lots of things are similar and just alot bigger community here. so when i drive the car seems a little shaky. when i get above 70 its shakes pretty bad...the guy i bought it from said it was the back right bushings but i plan on changing them all but would this be the problem all help is much appreciated thanks!!

if its always shaky but gets worse the faster you go, it probably means you have warped wheels or your tires have uneven wear.
right now, one of my right rear control arms also have worn bushings. it doesn't feel shaky but it's causing the car to steer left and right slightly and it feels like the steering's loose. go under the car and try shaking the suspension rods, if they're loose then the bushings definitely need to be replaced. i have the parts already to fix mine, but i'm just waiting for my tank to go empty. i'm not really looking forward to having to drop the tank and also removing those long bolts holding both rear arms.. kindasad.gif
