 sound proofing car?, wanna get rid of the rattle |

so i just got some nice alpine type s speakers and i really want them to sound as good as they can, so i decided i may soundproof my car or at least try to reduce my rattle, does anyone know if that great stuff foam will work for this? and please dont smack me for this, just an idea

I'm going the RaamMat option, myself. http://www.raamaudio.com. Here's some pix I took along the way; I haven't completed the project yet, this was just the floorboard phase. I'll post up a complete "how-to" when it's all finished. I've got the door panels and trunk left to do.
