Yeah, I highly recommend investing in some decent sound deadening. And for that matter, I cannot recommend raammat highly enough. Rick (the owner) is just an awesome guy, super friendly and REALLY knows his stuff, and his prices are VERY decent. In fact right now he's got a special (I think it's still up) on material you use for your floorboards, and if you buy the discounted floorboard material along with the other stuff you need to do your doors and trunk, wheel wells, etc, you can do your entire car for about $200. He's also very responsive to emails with questions, etc. http://www.raamaudio.com
Has anyone done the license plate bezel (center piece) yet, that seems to be the biggest rattle for sounds. I haven't done mine yet, I don't seem to notice my rattling, but that could be because I haven't finished the rest of my car yet, and once IT'S quiet, I'll actually hear the license plate bezel lol If I have enough material left over after the doors and hatch, I'll probably do the midsection of the license plate panel and maybe some double stick foam around the edges. -------------------- |
