Some members are requesting a Celica of the Month thread in lieu of the Featured Ride being changed to a quarterly instead of monthly honor. So, anyone who would like to can post their Celica's info, along with some pictures. A poll will eventually be created for members to select their favorite submission. So, having established that, let's start the submissions for March Celica of the Month!
Everyone is free to post below. What we want to see is the inspiration behind the car, let us know how it came to be the way it is now. Where it's been, and where it's going is just as important as where it is now. A poll of all submissions will be created from those posts. Entrants can vote for themselves, but NO ONE should be going in and making new accounts to add votes. If this is found to happen the moderators will disqualify ALL votes made by that person. Good luck, and go! dang my plan failed! plan was to be the only picture poster giving me no competition
I like your style Malek, so I'm going to follow with my celica story Born 1996 in a Japanese toyota plant (so JDM) and it's a SS-II manual. The first japanese owner had done about 60,000km's (so about 37,000miles) and I bought in July 2007, pretty much factory apart from a hks intake and a few extras, shorty later my first modifcation were trd leads and sparkplugs. I began some intensive research, as the plan was to keep it clean, sleek , elegant and simple, my impression of what celica stands for. my first idea was the tom's lip, though I like the design of the SS-III kit better, so I went ahead with that, I also grabed some great trd goodies and projectors etc to complement the look, recently I've installed tein suspension and facelift gt4 rims.... anyway if you wish to read more about my progress you can by clicking my signature (My SS-II CELICA) anyway pic This post has been edited by Rusty: Feb 23, 2010 - 2:41 AM -------------------- |
