OEM rad is WAY sufficient for a non built up 3SGTE at 400hp or less, the only thing important is thermostat (TRD 160degree does great), nature of the coolant. Radiators are always three or four times bigger than they need, a good exemple is an old civic SI (like 97) , their rad size is half of ours and is as good as the other cars, and it is also letting more cold air entering into the engine bay. I would not pay 300buck for a rad that wont do anything more than stock one, I would search a smaller one with the same efficiency. 2cents well I did happen to find a radiator that is half the size of our normal radiators. I actually remember seeing a radiator on a ek9 civic type r at super autobacs a while back and it only had one fan as well. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ALUMINUM-RA...sQ5fAccessories now the problem would be mounting the radiator and finding a fan for it. any ideas anybody? Finally found a lightweight radiator link for radiator at autozone weighs 10.5 pounds and seems to be made of all aluminum, whats the weight of the stock radiator http://www.autozone.com/autozone/catalog/p...equestid=377427 This post has been edited by BonzaiCelica: Feb 15, 2010 - 7:06 PM -------------------- Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle parts
