i dont really know if it worth trying but applying the truck release button some cars have to the doors
give me some feedback on this idea thanks |

There is a backup handle INSIDE the car for getting out, you would not be trapped in the car if the battery died.
The latch itself is backwards to ours, ie the latch is in the jamb and the catch is on the door so hiding the backup handle behind the seat isn't as hard as it would be to hide it on a celica. Maybe you could hide something down in the pocket at the bottom of the door. Would just need to rig a cable down there. Oh, and if you're really worried about getting out you always have the hatch or trunk to crawl out ![]() |
