CURRENT with painted wheels:
I figured I might as well start a progress thread since I have a lot of spare time at the moment. When I first bought the car it was just a form of temporary transportation until I could find something newer, until I found this site o_O. I stumbled across the car on autotrader.com and couldn't help but notice the perfect condition it was in. Perfect paint, pristine grey leather interior, and flawless under the hood. I was only tentative because of how little power it had, but it gets great gas mileage so that's a plus. I first fell in love with 6th gens playing gran turismo 1 back in the day, and always wanted to have a gt-four. Here are a few photos since I bought her about a year ago: New wheels: In desperate need of spacers/better offset: 20mm spacers installed in the rear, along with clear sidemarkers and corners: lowered on megan springs and KYB shocks w00t Lacking front flushness, in need of spacers: The other day installing new speakers: New shift knob + 7th gen short shifter Much more to come. My celica is no longer in pristine showroom condition
The other night on the way home I plowed a raccoon that ran out in the road at the last second. The area where the front bumper meets the right fender is completely smashed in and paint was taken off. I'll try to post pics later. I'm really bummed This post has been edited by flyinglizard: Feb 21, 2010 - 1:47 PM |
