Vincent, few questions for you. Sorry if these have already been answered.
Do you think that the cotton backing is absolutely necessary or can it be left out? And did you apply the cotton straight to the vinyl, or did you pull off the original insert? And lastly, how exactly did you cut down the inserts to fit? I am putting them on the door card and trimming little by little, but the workmanship is so good that I don't want to mess anything up by accidentally misaligning the leather. I paid $70 for professional installation; 35 a door - took both door panels off and dropped them off to the guy Thursday morning and they were done Friday morning at 11AM.
