hey guys i'm semi new to posting here but i have been reading the forum for a while now. in October i picked up this.....
I got the car for $300 which was a steal since the body is in great condition.it has about 112xxx on the odometer. The guy said it needed a clutch and head gasket seal. Im sure it needs a lot more since he turned into a crack a couple years before i moved out of that house. I just bought a 3sgte from jspec auto with a uncut harness, ecu, altrac tranny and im almost positive a w2a intercooler since it was out of an st205. i haven't had a chance to unwrap it yet. I now need to look into getting a trans for it since there no way in hell id able to do a st205 conversion with my knowledge. I live in central mass near Worcester so if any of you guys are interested in helping me out pm me im looking foward to getting this done by my 21st bday in august but hopefully a lot sooner!!!!!!! Can't beat 275whp and stock Toyota reliability. It has a bit of documentation on mr2oc (fortunately for us there is a guy who makes a kit to drop the 2GR right into a mr2). Dr Tweak can probably handle the wiring aspect - making the entire setup plug and play.
Plus the 2GRs are cheaper than a 3S. -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money
I'm not really an asshole, but I play one on the internet. **** Photobucket |
