Alright ... since the 3S-GTE orriginally belongs to an AWD vehicle ... and since AWD cars lose more power through the flywheel, then once you put on that mean engine on a FWD car ... would you actually be making more power than if you had AWD? I know AWD rules and gets insane traction and lunches like crazy so it would probably still be faster ... but I'm just wondering about the power.

well cant you also get the 3sgte tranny swapped in along with the motor? that would take care of the problem with the tranny being weak and all.. but how much more would that cost? dont they come with a 6 speed tranny?

No, they do not come with a 6 speed tranny... and if you get a st185 or st205 clip, you can't use the tranny because it's AWD.

And yes you can use that transmission. Talk to jhull over at toyotacelicas.com He used the AWD tranny, because there is a way to stop it from moving the gear that would turn the rear driveshaft. Talk to him if you're interested in this, and he actually said this one of the better ways to go.

BTW, he is GOD with the 3sgte swap and knows absolutely everything about it....everything!
