Alright ... since the 3S-GTE orriginally belongs to an AWD vehicle ... and since AWD cars lose more power through the flywheel, then once you put on that mean engine on a FWD car ... would you actually be making more power than if you had AWD? I know AWD rules and gets insane traction and lunches like crazy so it would probably still be faster ... but I'm just wondering about the power.

And yes you can use that transmission. Talk to jhull over at toyotacelicas.com He used the AWD tranny, because there is a way to stop it from moving the gear that would turn the rear driveshaft. Talk to him if you're interested in this, and he actually said this one of the better ways to go. BTW, he is GOD with the 3sgte swap and knows absolutely everything about it....everything!
