I am attempting to remove the CV joints from the transaxle and they are not coming out. They are not the flanged CF joints, they are the splined inner ends and mymanual says they should just come out easily. Well they are not. I have pounded, yanked, tapped, tried everything, they are not coming out. Is there a snap ring or something that I'm missing? Help!

with propper skills it takes less than a minute.
get a big prybar, and a mallet. put it between the axle and tranny, you may damage the dust ring, then push the axle upward and SMAK. IT TAKES A BIG BLOW. -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I hardly log in anymore, last login Today Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post. LOL
