Was hoping there was someone out there with advice on running a water injection setup without adding methanol. Ive done seom searching around and only produced mixed answers. From what i can tell the only real drawbacks that i have read so far, are cylinder walls wearing out FASTER than normal due to some property of just running water, and maybe it would weaken the fuel/air mixture coming into the engine already.

Anywho, i cant get methanol here in japan, due to it being a controlled substance. It was recommened to use HEET, but i cant find it out where im at, and also i know the risk of using the 50/49/1 washer fluid...basically i dont want the injector nozzle to get clogged by soap when i really need...

So anybody that can give any insight to just plain jane water?

Running 100% water is fine, and will yield good results...but normally you dont want to run straight water, as it will freeze in the lines and the tank at anything below 32*
