 Need help- 94 Celica ST CV joint stuck in transaxle |

I am attempting to remove the CV joints from the transaxle and they are not coming out. They are not the flanged CF joints, they are the splined inner ends and mymanual says they should just come out easily. Well they are not. I have pounded, yanked, tapped, tried everything, they are not coming out. Is there a snap ring or something that I'm missing? Help!

crow bar and mallet.
Your essentially hitting the crow bar with a mallet to pop the axle out of the transmission. Took me 10 minutes of trying to gently get it out. But finally i said f* it and beat on the pry bar to finally get it out. Good luck. |
