Okay so here's another noobish question out of me - I'm going to have to add a disclaimer to my signature or something.
Understand firstoff that I know nothing about offsets, bolt patterns, etc. etc. except I know how to read tire sizes and I know how to take off and put on a tire. I'm fully planning on getting a set of HP Lite Ochos, but I don't know if I should go with the 8 hole or 10 hole pattern to fit our cars. I have a set of 16" Primax rims that I believe are 10 hole and they fit fine, but I don't know what size they are...16xsomething, I'm assuming 7 since the tire size on them is 215/50ZR16 (Falken Ziex 912s ![]() Basically, any advice on which to get (8/10 hole) and most importantly, will they fit? -------------------- ![]() |

Well offset if I remember correctly, is the distance of the wheels' mounting surface from the wheels' center line. So the more offset the more the mounting surface is pushed outward of the wheel. The less offset the more the mounting surface is pushed inside, thus making the wheel stick outward when mounted onto the car.
