well we built my st205 to be as fast as possible on standard internals without melting anything.... which we succeded in with 171mph on the autobahn via road angel gps and a timed 4.05 from 0-60mph at the fun weekends here....

so we went onto build my brothers car one... make that 10 better...

so the standard car was running nice but in the quest to go better than me we pulled it apart... the spec from off the top of my head is as follows...

Garrett GT3071r with 4" intake
Tial 41mm wastegate
Wiseco 86.5mm pistons (block bored and re honed)
Crower con rods
ARP bolts
ACL race bearings
Crank cleaned and polished
Spec clutch rated at 550lb/ft torque
Fidanza Flywheel
All balanced together
TB developments downpipe and screamer pipe kit
Aussie Exhaust Midpipe
Blitz Nur Spec r exhaust
Wolfkatz 870cc injectors plus top feed fuel rail
Walbro 255 pump
Koyo radiator
Our own custom FMIC conversion using the same Forge motorsport core as me ( 780mm x 320mm x 80mm) which will make it only the second in the country and maybe the world to retain everything with no modyfing of any of the oem parts to fit.
Blitz intake
Motec M4 ecu
Blitz spec r boost controller
Rocker cover also sprayed blue
Manifolds remain as before as before and also cams as these do not need to be changed to acheive 450-500bhp

pics will be up soon.. biggrin.gif

haha, indeed mate, its awesome, did 15 laps, had a few hairy moments of madness where you could say a change of underwear was needed... especially on my last lap which was a lets either go hell for leather fast as humanly possible or pootle... i chose fast as you can, had the rear wheels come light as i went over the brow of one of the lifts as 145mph... to say i nearly left my stomach insides would be an understatement... but i did decimate 2 R34 GTR's and 1 R33 GTR along with a couple of 911 turbos and m3's so that was worth it! biggrin.gif

and forza is alright, im sometimes on, dalegt4 is the username, although its dissapointing driving the game after going there, you cant feel the camber changes and inclines that much but pretty accurate on the idea of the corners though to be fair.

indeed, its cost adam a fortune in parts, but its worth it, we have run in 1600mile and are giving it upto 1 bar boost at the moment, its sounding absolutely awesome when the wastegate opens, sounds like a plane, although we are only running the 540cc and side feed rail, the top feed and 870's are going on in 3 weeks time and we are going to see what we can get out of her.

and indeed, how gutting to put the weisco in the engine, they are awesome, and we are looking at taking mine apart now.... but using a bigger turbo... biggrin.gif

but not sure yet as my engine is too perfect to take apart so we may buy another 3s-gte block or just by an n/a and drill the oil feed and swap the engine so we have a standard internal block and a forged monster one too, in the pipe line but not certain yet...

with the bhp and torque... ive no idea, it made over 250awhp with only 1 bar and that was with just a nur spec-r exhaust and apexi intake with 1 bar..... so we have cranked the boost way up, full 3 inch straight through out the turbo along with some altered gain settings to spin us up quicker, anything can be acheived with a 5.5k launch off dropping the clutch, its just how long the drivetrain lasts so we used my khumo tyres as i can just light the tyres up all the way through first gear so its less strain on the clutch and drivetrain ( i love my car to be flawless so i go easy on it)

the top speed was bouncing off the rev limiter at 7250rpm with over 1.3 bar boosting, the secret to any power is the best intake charges you can get, the only reason the 3s melts the pistons is yes bhp but also massive intake charges, the cc is crap at sustained high boost application, so the biggest most efficient fmic core we could find worked a treat to make the intake temps silly low so that helped massively on the maintaining reliabillity with boost and bhp.

on hot track days we still only run 1 bar..

donington park last year....

in the snow..

and yes i know, shocking doing doughnuts... but great fun...
