is there a light or is there or just not because I drove home all the way in 2 so I just need to that its a fuse or something else

Is yours off all the time? I have a similar problem, but it seems like a loose connection or a short, because it comes on and off randomly, sometimes after I hit a rough bump in the road. I'll pull my center console part off to check it out.
