Hi Everyone....need some help with this one....
My car Failed its MOT today - only on emissions... the CO is way too high... maximum allowable is 3%?? and I got a startling 6%??!!!!....Dammit! lol... The car does seem quite heavy on fuel anyway and I wonder if anyone knows why this occurs and what the solution is possibly....The guy at the garage suggests Lambda probe....OMG theyre expensive!!!!!! In fairness to the old girl....she is getting on now...15 years...so its a credit to her really that all she failed on was the fact shes a little thirsty and blows too much carbon out. Any answers will be greatly appreciated... Thanks guys n gals Sam |
