Hello every im having a really annoying issue with my ebrake. About two months ago my friend did a drum to disk conversion. after the conversation he attempted to tighten the ebrake with very little success. He took off the exhaust off and everything so he doesnt know what to do at this point. This ebrake is way to loose and it needs to be tight. What should we do? How could we get this ebrake tight?

Samir's description entails adjusting the position of the pads, which you have to do on both wheels.
Soulshadow's description is specific to the position of the e-brake handle and the amount of slack in the cables. However, it's actually a two-nut system. One nut adjusts the amount of slack in the cables, the other nut locks the adjuster nut into place. Full tension should be achieved within seven clicks. Both steps need to be done to properly set the e-brakes. |
