antenna cant completely get into the whole Options

anyone have idea about how to fix it? can i just replace the antenna part? it works and mast seems ok just can not com into the hole completely...

If it goes up and back down to the spot you're showing the geared rib is broken. You'll have to take off the chrome nut on top of the antanna mount and let it run out. Look at the bottom of the rib and you'll probably see it's snapped off at the end. You'll have to remove the antenna housing to get the broken rib out and then run in a new mast the same way you ran out the old one. Be careful when you take off the side panel to get to the antenna housing as it's easy to snap off the wiring to your hatch light when you pull the panel back! Just one bolt and one electrical connection to remove the housing after you have the top nut off. Easy fix, but you may want to wait until you have the new mast bevore you take it apart. Don't get a cheap aftermarket mast like Ebay either as they don't last long and are a five section unlike the six section that's OEM.
