I always been wondering why they changed the engines in USA?. I dont recall if its the same 1.8 engine, But why did they make it 2.2 and only give it 130 hp?.
I meen, Why not just make the same engines everywhere, You should've had the 1.8 or 2.0 like in Japan and europa. But there has always been difference on USA's models compared the Japan / EU models.. Is it to reduce prices?, Legal reasons?. Someone help -------------------- 3SGE Driver :-)

1994 Celica GT was ~$20,000 depending on options.
And OP- the big "detroit muscle" cars back in the day were V8's because there really wasn't any emissions standards, and gas was stupid cheap. But its funny to see that you think of us as a bunch of people driving around muscle cars getting 6mpg. I just wish they would have brought the 3rd gen 3S-GE over here. That's all I want. -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money
