Some general Questions for Toyota Owners, Helping a friend with a term paper Options

Here are some interview questions, please answer 1 or 2 of them, or all if you want. Copy and paste the question you are responding to so I know which question the response is for.

Have long have you had, or did you have, your Toyota, what made you buy it? What year, model?

Why do you like your Toyota, and what do you use it for (driving, racing, towing stuff)?

Do you know any myths, superstitions or conspiracies involving Toyotas? What about jokes, inside or about Toyotas (like the punch bug or dub, depending on the year, for VW)?

Is there any rivalry that you know of with other car companies?

Is there a special recognition factor you get from begin a Toyota owner (like the "Wrangler Wave" for jeep owners)?

If Toyota owners could fall into one or two "general" stereotypes what would it/they be (Like Subaru owners are known to be like outdoor hippies, and VW owners are generally awesome...)?

Their current Ad campaign "Moving forward", and their promises off reliability?

How do you feel about the Prius, and the people who drive them?

During the Cash for Clunkers thing, the Corolla, the Camry, and the Pruis were all in the top 10 sellers, ranking at 1, 3, and 7. Any thoughts, or comments regarding this info?

How do you feel about the current issues surrounding Toyota, such as the recalls, the guy with the "run away Prius guy" and the lawsuit, such as the recent $16 million one?

Why do you think the recall got so much media attention, and do you think the massive media coverage could have been part of a conspiracy trying to get people to buy American?

Are there any other noteworthy things that you've noticed about Toyota, or the people who drive them, or anything else you want to add?

First 6th gen a '94 black st, had it for close to 8 years and had an accident in 2007, then got a '00 7th gen gt have had that close to 4 years, got another 6th gen a '95 ST last august, (had to have that 6th gen back) So happy owner of 6th and 7th gen won't part with either.

Why do you like your Toyota, and what do you use it for (driving, racing, towing stuff)?
Initially I liked it for it's looks, and then over the years didn't have a single problem with it and was stupid and didn't take care of it yet had no problems. Used it for daily driving, no racing. I like them for their looks and quality , reliability (better than any other car IMO) and sort of uniqueness (not as common as cars such as civics)

Do you know any myths, superstitions or conspiracies involving Toyotas? What about jokes, inside or about Toyotas (like the punch bug or dub, depending on the year, for VW)?
Ehhh no myths that I can think of...

Is there any rivalry that you know of with other car companies?
Well honda is always trying to one up us, i guess. But they know we are better

Is there a special recognition factor you get from begin a Toyota owner (like the "Wrangler Wave" for jeep owners)?
The one thing that I have heard a few times is "you toyota people" meaning that we are loyal to only toyotas and we think that toyota is better than any other car brand (which it is )

No real stereo types seems like all walks of life have toyotas
Their current Ad campaign "Moving forward", and their promises off reliability?
I have no question they will fill this promise based off their history

How do you feel about the Prius, and the people who drive them?
I think that they are great for people that commute alot, I personally don't fancy them but if i had to commute and wanted to save some money on gas, I would get one.

Its all blown out of control, people are looking for a cut and a chance to make Toyota look bad, to build up their brands. i hate all those money grubbing lying crooks.

Yes, I totally believe that to be true, all makes sense half of the American car makers needed a bail out because they suck so much. Great time to throw the ace under the bus.
Are there any other noteworthy things that you've noticed about Toyota, or the people who drive them, or anything else you want to add? Only thing i want to add is they need to come up with another celica, I know that wont happen So i hope for that concept car to come out because you won't catch me in a crappy TC, (GENERIC).
