been looking around for some replacement dials, but not el, anybodyknow of a good place?

A buddy of mine had speedhut here in Utah make some for the 5th gen alltrac and gt. He had to donate a cluster, but said that they were more than willing to get him overlays. You may want to email some of the companies making them to see what they would charge if there was a group buy.
I put some in for another friend with an 08 mustang. They look great and you can do just about any color scheme with custom images on them as well. They were easy and didn't necessitate removing the needles like mine.
I run lockwoods and like them. There are only a couple of us on the forum with them, but they look similar to the OEM white faced gauges on some (correct me if I'm wrong) ssIII or beams platform models.
