Alright so before we go to my de-modified Celica pictures, I'm going to tell you what's going on.
For those of you in the chat with me the other day, you know that I found the list of "mods" that I wanted to do to my car right when I got to this site. Basically when I just got here, I went to the "post a pic of your celi" thread and was like "I wanna do THAT, and THAT, and THAT!" Then, I crossed out all of it and at the bottom wrote "Black, stock looking GT4 lowered enough to look good, high enough to get over bumps." I found this and thought it was kinda funny, and I went out and looked at my car. I wondered how it would look if I just made it a stock looking GT4. So I tore off the front and rear splitters, jdm tails, all that, and made it look as "stock" as possible. And I have to say, I like it. I really do. I mean don't get me wrong, splitters look great on cars, but not for the look I'm trying to achieve. I don't want people to know I bought aftermarket parts for mine. I want a stock, factory looking car that turns heads. And that's what I tried. Here's my result; For some odd reason, the USDM tails just looks very clean to me on the car the way it is right now. The car (in my opinion) looks very sporty, has an aggressive stance, and it's not too overdone. It's modified enough to turn heads and stock enough to keep them turned. I don't know, those are just my opinions. I posted the pics here to get yours, so let's hear them! And I want constructive criticism! overall, nice work and i can't wait to see it in person. -------------------- You're here for a good time, not a long time. - Colin McRae When in doubt...
