I took my gt4 front bar to the paint shop recently, and they handed the reobar back to me saying it wouldn't bolt up with the new bumper. I know it needs to be cut in order to fit on, just curious where it needs to be cut and what tools i should be using to cut it. I have a fair bit of experience using power tools, but I haven't cut metal before, would an angle grinder with an appropriate wheel be sufficient?
I need the reobar to fit on by friday so it can pass my registration inspection |

Hi Mate,
I did this exact same thing only 2 weeks ago. you have to cut exactly where you have the red lines shown in that photo. Its the bottom that needs to be removed. Once you remove this it will fit. I also had to take out the foam filling that sits inside the bumper. But thats nothing, it just slides out. I used a grinder with a metal disc and it was fine, very easy job. Let us know how you go. -------------------- 2 X ST165 GT4's
