Alright so before we go to my de-modified Celica pictures, I'm going to tell you what's going on.
For those of you in the chat with me the other day, you know that I found the list of "mods" that I wanted to do to my car right when I got to this site. Basically when I just got here, I went to the "post a pic of your celi" thread and was like "I wanna do THAT, and THAT, and THAT!" Then, I crossed out all of it and at the bottom wrote "Black, stock looking GT4 lowered enough to look good, high enough to get over bumps." I found this and thought it was kinda funny, and I went out and looked at my car. I wondered how it would look if I just made it a stock looking GT4. So I tore off the front and rear splitters, jdm tails, all that, and made it look as "stock" as possible. And I have to say, I like it. I really do. I mean don't get me wrong, splitters look great on cars, but not for the look I'm trying to achieve. I don't want people to know I bought aftermarket parts for mine. I want a stock, factory looking car that turns heads. And that's what I tried. Here's my result; For some odd reason, the USDM tails just looks very clean to me on the car the way it is right now. The car (in my opinion) looks very sporty, has an aggressive stance, and it's not too overdone. It's modified enough to turn heads and stock enough to keep them turned. I don't know, those are just my opinions. I posted the pics here to get yours, so let's hear them! And I want constructive criticism! After seeing your car in person I totally love the way it looks now, but here are a few things I would do (probably what you have planned ): •gt4 fogs Have them, wanted to wire it differently than my stock fogs. I finally got around to wiring them, now all U have to do is put them on •Clear front lenses Saving up money to give to Wolfie so he can make me some •re-paint riser blocks Planned for next week! •projectors (even though it looks awesome now, it would just add to the look) Saving $$ •make it fast!!! 5sfte or 3s swap. We'll find a way haha If Jim still has that 5sfte when I save the $800 for projectors, I'm going to say screw it and save up a little more and buy it from him I love the stance of your car on Tein springs, especially how the front is slightly lower than the rear. Makes it look so dang aggressive! Your car could almost be lagos' twin right now. Thanks! -------------------- 1996 Toyota Celica GT (GT4 conversion) - SOLD :(
