As i was building my water cooled computer, it just dawned on me that no one has ever tried a water cooled exhaust manifold. I think this would drop the engine bay temp by a bunch numbers. And for those that use fiberglass wraps, this will the end of that.
![]() I was thinking maybe welding small bases on each exhaust manifold pipe and have liquid running to the radiator much like a computer cooler. I would love to see this for our 5sfe and 3sgte if its already out there!! This post has been edited by xlee: Apr 19, 2010 - 12:06 AM |

Apparently, Boats have this technology.
http://www.marineengine.com/boat-forum/sho...ad.php?t=289794 anyone in here a marine tech? My pc is a Intel I7-920 with water coolers of course. The rest of the other parts are typical gamer's specs. |
