Here are some interview questions, please answer 1 or 2 of them, or all if you want. Copy and paste the question you are responding to so I know which question the response is for.
Have long have you had, or did you have, your Toyota, what made you buy it? What year, model? Why do you like your Toyota, and what do you use it for (driving, racing, towing stuff)? Do you know any myths, superstitions or conspiracies involving Toyotas? What about jokes, inside or about Toyotas (like the punch bug or dub, depending on the year, for VW)? Is there any rivalry that you know of with other car companies? Is there a special recognition factor you get from begin a Toyota owner (like the "Wrangler Wave" for jeep owners)? If Toyota owners could fall into one or two "general" stereotypes what would it/they be (Like Subaru owners are known to be like outdoor hippies, and VW owners are generally awesome...)? Their current Ad campaign "Moving forward", and their promises off reliability? How do you feel about the Prius, and the people who drive them? During the Cash for Clunkers thing, the Corolla, the Camry, and the Pruis were all in the top 10 sellers, ranking at 1, 3, and 7. Any thoughts, or comments regarding this info? How do you feel about the current issues surrounding Toyota, such as the recalls, the guy with the "run away Prius guy" and the lawsuit, such as the recent $16 million one? Why do you think the recall got so much media attention, and do you think the massive media coverage could have been part of a conspiracy trying to get people to buy American? Are there any other noteworthy things that you've noticed about Toyota, or the people who drive them, or anything else you want to add? |

Have long have you had, or did you have, your Toyota, what made you buy it? What year, model? Have had it for 3 years now. 95 GT Vert. Due to the fact that i lost my TTCougar to an unfortuniete accident that warped the frame something awful and i needed a dd. Why do you like your Toyota, and what do you use it for (driving, racing, towing stuff)? Yes- Fantastic cruise car (convertible feature) dependable, reliable (even though i have a blown engine right now, i have over a quarter million miles so how can i complain?) Do you know any myths, superstitions or conspiracies involving Toyotas? What about jokes, inside or about Toyotas (like the punch bug or dub, depending on the year, for VW)? We own "runaway" cars- due to the recent recall of the petals sticking. My typical response is that toyota's were made to GO! lol Is there any rivalry that you know of with other car companies? Honda, Nissan (currently) At this present date, american made companys are failing behind dramaticaly and not much of an issue. For example, When gas prices skyrocketed- Toyota releases the Yaris featuring 29/36 mpg while ford continues cramming the explorer down everyone throats featuring 14/20 mpg. Even honda's CR-V (most popular suv) is running with 21/28. Source: http://www.fordvehicles.com/suvs/explorer/ http://www.toyota.com/yaris/ http://automobiles.honda.com/cr-v/ Is there a special recognition factor you get from begin a Toyota owner (like the "Wrangler Wave" for jeep owners)? yeah- i get anounced as a BAMF. ![]() If Toyota owners could fall into one or two "general" stereotypes what would it/they be (Like Subaru owners are known to be like outdoor hippies, and VW owners are generally awesome...)? idfk. we're all types. Probably a group that gets things done- but as effectively and efficiently as possible. Their current Ad campaign "Moving forward", and their promises off reliability? Stand up to the product they are placing. again, i laid over a 250,000 miles on a stock engine that was severly damaged when i got it. How do you feel about the Prius, and the people who drive them? Dont know anyone who drives a prius. But we havent had a meet yet. During the Cash for Clunkers thing, the Corolla, the Camry, and the Pruis were all in the top 10 sellers, ranking at 1, 3, and 7. Any thoughts, or comments regarding this info? it's because of the fact that toyota is willing to sell cars for a decent price- combined with the longevity of the vehicles. it's often times a vehicle that will be passed around from person to person for a while. By the time it gets to the last owner- it's severly trashed out. And unfortunately- some people will buy a new vehicle before they will clean their carpets complaining that the car is a waste of time. How do you feel about the current issues surrounding Toyota, such as the recalls, the guy with the "run away Prius guy" and the lawsuit, such as the recent $16 million one? I believe one man may have had a problem (or not know how to drive- he should have thrown it into Neutral and hammered the EMERGENCY break. that's what it's there for..... fcuking dumbsh!t) i believe the rest of the mob is primarily looking for a moment in the "limelight". much like the women of the Tiggerwoods, and JessieJames scandals. they just want attention. Why do you think the recall got so much media attention, and do you think the massive media coverage could have been part of a conspiracy trying to get people to buy American? Perhaps. I stick to my last statement primarily. Are there any other noteworthy things that you've noticed about Toyota, or the people who drive them, or anything else you want to add? yeah, we're BadAssMothaFcuka's. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() seriously, all in all it's a damn good vehicle with an outstanding resale value. Fantastic reliability, Credible name, and i am Proud to own my (Toyota) Celica. Farthermore, our offshoots (Scion, Lexus) are also premium at preforming the art they were designed for (style - luxury. respectfully) while also maintaining the Toyota Standard of excellence. ![]() -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!!
