My 96 GT is about to turn 155k and I have not had to replace the original clutch. I drive the car pretty gently - but still, this seems too good to be true. How about you guys - what kind of miles do you get out of your stock clutch?

what does it feel like when ther clutch starts slipping? If I'm not mistaken I stil have the factory clutch on my car and I'm at 173000 miles and sometimes the engine has little power jumps in first in second

When it starts to slip... believe me... you'll know. wink.gif

For example... at 10 MPH, if you drop your car in 2nd or 3rd (I know, no would do this in real life, but this is just an example), and floored it, your car will rev up and the wonderful aroma of burnt clutch will dissipate throughout your car.
