Hey guys, I'm currently racking my brain trying to figure out how to get my latest idea for the Celica to work. I want my radio to stay on when I turn the car off and take my key out until the driver's side door is opened and then closed. If the door is already open when the car is turned off, I want the power to turn off as soon as the driver's door is closed.
I know that if I want to keep the radio on until the door is open, I can use this, but keeping it on until the door is opened and then closed is something I'm just having trouble with. Anyone have any ideas? -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

What about hooking the ground from the radio/relay, be grounded when the door switch is open. That way, when the switch is closed(door closed), it cuts the ground.
Of course, you would have to wire another ground, perhaps through another relay, so you could have the radio on when the door is closed and the car is on. maybe something like that would work? I'm not too good with the wiring with relays and such. Sounds good in my head though. |
