hello there,

i'm new on this forum and think it's great

tried to find info about caldina 4th gen 3s-gte
i want to know how far i can go with the original caldina turbo
because it kicks in at low rpm (1.1 bar at 2800rpm) it drives very good on the road

Visit My Website

got a fmic and 3"exhaust but after 4000rpm the pressure drops from 1.1 to 0.9 or even 0.8 bar at 6000 rpm
aem boostcontroller set at 1.1 bar , walbro fuelpump (look at proflie for info)
280 hp is the max at this moment

thanks

ok thanks,

what can it be that he wil stay at 280 ?
3'' exhaust , fmic with 2,5"piping

maybe the intercooler is not up for the job? kindasad.gif
it a truck intercooler cut in half with new sides on it.

if i can get 330 i'll be very happy
wil not go for new mods cause i've also got a 2JZ in a bmw E30 chassis to build biggrin.gif
but another intercooler is not that expensive and an easy fix if so...

you will need some good tuning for the power goals you want. I had a FMIC and 3inch downpipe-exhaust and got almost 270 by just that. i didnt up the boost or anything. this was on stock boost (15psi)

You want power but have no money. That's a problem.

Cheap. Reliable. Fast. Pick two.
