i recently have picked up a full zex dry nitrous kit with all the goodies im starting the install today but over the time i will keep this updated here and will be taking pics
my 5s has 240,000 miles but still runs absolutely perfect i have no idea of past events or anything internal done to the block other than it has a new timing belt so i like to think the previous owner had replaced the head-gasket too. i know a bunch of you think this is a bad idea but i don't have the resources or time or money too rebuild or too swap or boost like a lot of individuals on here. so this thread is for the truth behind our cars on nitrous will keep this updated This post has been edited by terbear4god4life: May 8, 2010 - 10:46 AM -------------------- |

first off....
WHERE'D YOU GET THAT KEYCHAIN??????? secondly.... I had nitrous before on my celica, 50 shot, rans strong all day, 75 shot, before bottle was empty i had spun a rod bearing BUT, I think it was my own fault, I didn't know enough about nitrous back then, and hope you can learn from my mistakes. 1st wet it better(adds in its own fuel and is safer) 2nd MAKE SURE TO RETARD TIMING!!!!! if I were you I would buy a mallory 6A that has window switch and timing retard, AS WELL AS MORE SPARK(about $200) 3rd go get you a set of 1 step colder NGK plugs like BKR7ES-1 should work fine for your 5S -------------------- If anyone is missing NASCAR and it's not on Speed Channel, take a fistful of Skittles, throw them in the toilet and hit the flush handle. Instant NASCAR!!!
