Hi Guys,
i am just wondering what would be the best cold air intake pipe diameter for a 3rd gen 3sge with a throttle body of 65mm (2 and 5/8"). my current setup uses 3" diameter which i think is good at the higher rpm range but i feel that i'm losing some in the bottom to mid range. i wanted to use the same diameter as the throttle body but the only available pipe size in my location is 2.5" only. do you think that this would be very restrictive at higher rpms? my car is a daily driver and i use it on the track very seldom. but i run full throttle on the streets whenever possible. thanks. |

fellow pinoy...not much difference between a 2.5" and 3" intakes, difference is really only in the sound, filtration, and performance not so much. 3" intakes do sound a lot better though.
