Ok, heres the deal. First of all i wanted to swap a 3S-GTE into my 96 st, but i would have to modify mounts and use a different transmission right? correct me plz. So the 4A-GZE would be the perfect alternative right? 170hp is what i hear from other topics (i did do a search before i wrote this) just some things were unclear. So, my dad sez he can probly get a hold of one from a friend who owns a junkyard. So maybe getting a new motor isn't a dream any more we will see. Oh and i plan on buying the whole clip.
ok so heres my questions:
Thanks for your help. Any info on this swap is very much appreciated. -------------------- |

Well, yes and no. Toysport has thousands and thousands of dollers worth of parts for the 4A. What I was saying is that if you want to go cocain crazy with an engine and build it to race, go with the silver top. But, if you just want to compete and have some stoplight fun, use the 4A-gZe. It won't cost as much to get in the hunt with most cars. But, from where I stand, the 4age looks like more of a pure race engine, where as the agze is a cheap fun engine.
