So I took out my air filter to clean it and as I looked underneath right behind my transmission, I saw a whole bunch of grease or oil splattered all over. It looked like something had exploded and got over everywhere. I check the other (passenger) side as well and it looks like the grease got all over the other axle as well. Here are some pics of where the grease is:
They're not great pics, but I just thought it might give you an idea. I checked my transmission and it's not leaking. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but I know that something must be wrong. If anyone can help me and tell me where the grease/oil might be coming from I'd really appreciate it. Thanks a lot. |

cv boots arent expensive or time consuming to replace, depending on if its the inner or outter... the outers cost about $30 a piece.. if its the inner, its easier to replace the whole axle, which runs about $90
