I installed my new F/R susp. tech sway bars. They really made a diff. The thing is that my car now groans over little hills and cracks. The suspension is, I mean. I still have the stock struts and coils(assuming I have had the car 4 years and haven't changed them). Since the sway bars tighetned the suspension, would the stock stuff just not be used to it, or are they shot??
Looking for any suggestions/ ideas Thanks |

Its probably one of two things or a combination.... The swaybar bushings are urethane and squeak really really bad if not lubricated really well. If you didn't do it when you installed them, then you'll have to unbolt them and take the red parts out. Throughly grease the inside where the bar sits and re-install. The other possibility is that the bar is rubbing the chassis. The S/T bars have a funky bend in them that can get very close to the unibody and sometimes touch. It will creak badly if it does touch. To fix it you'll have to get a long punch and a big hammer and massage the body back out of the way of the swaybar. Note: It will not touch when the car is in the air. Imagine where the bar would be if the car was on the ground and you'll see. The place where it touches is on the drivers side, near the centerline of the car.
