Sooooo i started fixing my rocker panel because the previous owner hit something and tore it apart and now after sitting it rusted so, long story short, i started cutting off all the old and riveting in the new sheet metal!
Unfortunately i broke my last 1/8 inch drill bit and have to post pone finishing it until i can get some on monday ! ![]() but here are some pictures of what i got done so far and its not too hard, but it looks like crap right now because i only got this piece half way on and there's still two holes haha.. but just throwing this up here, the more i do the more motivated i get to finish it ![]() ![]() ![]() -------------------- NOVAKx17

I had a similar problem with my rockers. Is that the rear? mine wasnt quite that bad, but I cant use a floor jack, because it starts to crush through.
Got some good arm workouts with the toyota jack ![]() Any way, it looks like you sanded it down, but I would sand even further, try to get all the rust off, and get about an inch (at least!) around the whole thing down to sheet metal. Then there is this stuff you can buy, its called "rust treatment" (its at most auto stores) and you spray it on a few times, and let it cure for a day or two, then spray some rustoleum primer (eliminates rust too). I am not sure if you are already past this point, but its good to do, the first time I tried to fix my rust, it came back ![]() But good job, savin a celi ![]() Also I know you were a while back thinking of an invader kit? I think in the near future, I will be selling my SS and buying supra SS to mold on. If your interested in mine, let me know ill give you a good price. -------------------- |
