Hey guys, I'm new here and have been lurking the forums for a while now but finally decided to register!
Does anyone know of any online parts places that I can get an intercooler pump from? I've been looking around for a while now and have had no luck thus far. Its for a 1994 GT4 WRC.. mine seems to be dead as im getting code 54 and I know its not from the level sensor, and when i've put power direct through the relay the pump doesnt turn on.. so either its seized from sitting around in japan for however long, a broken wire after the relay somewhere, or the pump is just dead.. Thanks in advance! |

Thanks for the suggestions!
I managed to get the pump working again after taking it apart.. replaced a bearing, and soldered some burnt connections on the stator and its working 100% now! I've never seen an electric motor with that much dirt/rust in it before.. seal must have been leaking and then when it sat for however long in jap land it must have had some time to build a significant amount of crud up! The car is now out of limp mode for the first time since I have owned it (which is not that long), the previous owner was driving it the entire time witht the engine light on with code 54.. He was slightly shocked at how much better the car is working now |
