So me and Dustin (Batman722) decided to postpone the wedding another year and buy another 6th gen project instead...
That and the 99 Solara I've been using as a winter car is going to my sister in a few weeks so we needed to have one available to each of us as a 'winter beater'. We have my green 97 ST turbo, Dustin's blue 95 GT ST205 swapped, his silver 95 ST And let me introduce the new addition to our Celica family, 1994 Celica GT, 5spd, black interior, sunroof, Florida car without New England rust. Very bad rod knock and a very bad radiator meant we had to have it towed home where it stayed until it was again towed to Manny, Jenn and Randi's garage. We decided to swap in a Redtop 3S-GE Beams We cleaned it up, timing belt, waterpump, tensioner, prepped to go in ^inside the intake manifold, taken through the throttle body And as of tonight, it is in the car and running, And Manny fabricated the whole exhaust, from the b-pipe all the way back. I do not have good pics of it, someone else will have to insert them. We should be able to take some better pics tomorrow in the daylight. So far, very fun This post has been edited by hurley97: Jul 1, 2010 - 4:49 PM -------------------- |

It's not really a secret, it's written on my windshield this is true...especially since it was written on my dash for over a year...LMAO! steff my be getting married to dustin..but right now, this week, she loves MEEEEEE!!!! today i deleted the sidemarkers, and antenna hole, and finished preping the car for primer. some pics. first, evidence! welding patches for the sidemarkers and antenna. first coat of short strand fiberglass reinforced filler. then regular filler: sanded and ready for primer: once its all primed and guide coated, my buddy mike and i will block the whole thing, do any last minute fixes, and get her preped to go in for the gun this comming saturday. smaay..guess it depends on what you mean by "anywhere" lol. IIRC california required all shops to transfer over to waterbased paints by law, which i've never sprayed, so you'd be better off finding someone local to you. i wouldnt mind traveling to paint..that would be cool! -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
